It seems simply to mean "a plan" when you use it, but here in the U.S. it's more of a "plan brought about to manipulate or rip someone off." <br/><br/>When you write this sounds like a great scheme, my immediate thought is "no, it's not a scheme!" but then I realize it's just a difference in language.
